Η μεγάλη στρατιωτική παρέλαση για την 70η επέτειο της Νίκης κατά του ναζισμού πραγματοποιήθηκε το Σάββατο στην Κόκκινη Πλατεία της Μόσχας.
Οι ένοπλες δυνάμεις της Ρωσίας, οι βετεράνοι του πολέμου και οι επιδείξεις πολεμικών αεροσκαφών εντυπωσίασαν τους ξένους ηγέτες και όσους παρακολούθησαν τηλεοπτικά την μεγαλύτερη παρέλαση της Ρωσίας τις τελευταίες δεκαετίες.
Συμμετείχαν 16 500 στρατιώτες, 194 πολεμικά οχήματα,και 143 αεροπλάνα και ελικόπτερα. Παρευρίσκονται 2 300 παλάιμαχοι του Β παγκοσμίου πολέμου.
